Story

Your mission as a pilot of an airplane working on an aircraft carrier is to move your plane from the Hangar Bay of your carrier to the Flight Deck because your ship is on alert. The alert will stop, and then you must move your airplane back to the Elevator Deck. This type of exercise happens all the time on aircraft carriers.

As a pilot, you can make choices on what path you want to take, but you must start in the Hangar Bay. You must choose to follow Path 1 or Path 2 to take your plane to the Elevator Deck. If you choose Path 2 there are no speed bumps so the course is worth less points. If you choose Path 1, there are three speed bumps on the Deck that your airplane will have to go over but you earn more points for this route.

When you get to the Elevator Deck, you must move your plane to the Blast Deflector on the Flight Deck. You must cross over the Arrestor Cable to reach the Blast Deflector by traveling from the Elevator Deck to the Blast Deflector. Once you have reached the Blast Deflector, you must stop your plane. Then you will need to move your plane back crossing the Arrestor Cable again to the Elevator Deck. When your airplane finally stops on the Elevator Deck, your mission is complete.

Hangar Bay- A very large room inside an Aircraft Carrier that holds almost 80 planes

Elevator Deck- A floor that moves up and down like an elevator taking airplanes from a Hangar Bay which is below a Flight Deck to the Flight Deck.

Arrestor Cable- The big metal rope that slows down airplanes very quickly when they land on an aircraft carrier.

Blast Deflector- A flat cookie pan-shaped piece of metal that is right behind an airplanes engines on an Aircraft Carrier Flight Deck. It makes the air rushing out of the planes engines go in directions away from people working on the flight deck.

Flight Deck- The top surface of an aircraft carrier where planes are launched and land on the Aircraft Carrier.
