Story

In the year 2002, one of the radio telescopes used for the SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) program located a radio wave with a systematic pattern from a planet in the Alpha Centauri region. Scientists believe that the transmission is possibly from a radio transmitter sent by an alien life form, just like the Voyager 1 and 2 we sent in the past. A spacecraft is launched for investigation and the aerial photo confirmed that there is a small sphere shaped beacon nearby the landing point of the rover.

Mission

Your mission is to have a rover retrieve the beacon for studying.

Objectives

  1. Move through the terrains each code named "S", "W" and "E"

2.   Retrieve the beacon

a. Take it back to the shelter before a sandstorm approaches.

b. Simply secure the beacon to the rover.

Conditions

1.      Use only original parts of from the robotic invention kit.

2.      The rover must be self-standing.

3.      The path used to return the shelter is up to the operator.

4.      Securing the beacon means it won't become loose while the rover is moving.
