Robotics Around The World

A Global, Collaborative, Robotics Pilot Course

OVERVIEW

This Wichita State University pilot course studied the ways that global participants communicated while engaging in collaborative, online robotics projects. The study looked at ways that project activities were completed via online collaboration and distance communication methods.

During the project, each participant was teamed with a global partner to complete projects that included robot design and basic programming. The pilot project did not include advanced building or programming. The three (3) project activities were intentionally designed to be simple activities. The focus was on the online communication that took place among the participants.
