Story:
Your school has decided
that teaching about Egypt from books was just not enough
and has scheduled a field trip to the pyramid and
ancient tomb of Cleopatra. The first day your group is
there, you decide to explore the top of the pyramid and
see a great view of Egypt and a few other pyramids.
While your group starts the descent back down the
pyramid to camp for the day, an earthquake suddenly
rocks the earth and opens a secret chamber! As your
group decides to explore this new chamber, someone
notices that the entire group has been transported back
to the days of the great pyramids ? and the pyramid is
not finished anymore. Unfortunately, your entry into the
ancient world has scared away all of the workers and has
closed the portal back to the real world. Your teacher,
who happens to be very good at hieroglyphics, reads the
walls and finds out that all you have to do to get back
to the 21st century is complete the pyramid and the
chamber will re-open.
Your task is to travel back down the pyramid, find the
capstone for the pyramid, carry it back up the pyramid,
and complete the pyramid. Once you do this, play ?Walk
Like an Egyptian? and you will be transported back to
the 21st century.
Description
The objective of the course is to complete the pyramid
by placing the top piece on the top of the pyramid. The
top piece is on the base. It has a bent paper clip hook
that can be used to pick it up.
The robots start at the top however the players with it
to be placed. The will then travel down the ramps to the
base where they will pick up the top piece and head back
up the ramps to the top where they must maneuver the top
piece onto the pyramid.
Tape lines run down the middle on all the ramps and
around the base. The top piece is positioned off to one
side of the tape line. Points are awarded for traveling
up and down the ramps. There are no ledges on the ramps,
so be careful!
Scoring Table
300 down the ramp (4 sides of 75
points each)
50 half way around the base of the pyramid over the sand
100 pick up the stone
50 complete trip around the base of the pyramid over the
sand
300 up the ramp (4 sides of 75 points each)
100 place the capstone on top
100 play Walk Like An Egyptian
