We have completed our audit of the 2006 Mindstorms Challenge scores and have found that several errors were made when the final scores were tallied. We understand that many of you will need to explain to team members and parents that mistakes were made and we hope that you will express our sincere apology.
We accept responsibility for these errors and we hope that this will not affect your participation in future Mindstorms events. We believe the Challenge offers students, teachers, parents, and all of those who participate, an invaluable and memorable experience.
We promise to you that we will work to ensure that this never happens again. We are continuously improving all of the competition and are focusing on improving the scoring and reporting process.
