Story:
“Bad Man” Barton is one of the worst criminals in
recent history. He gets his kicks by picking on
smart kids in grades 4th through 8th. The kids that
he preys on love building and designing robots for
Lego Mindstorms. While the young boys and girls are
at home enjoying a warm meal, “Bad Man” Barton
breaks into the school. He stole the plans and some
of the parts for their robot. Without the missing
pieces, the kids will not be able to assemble their
robot, and with no plans, they have no idea what
tasks their robot must accomplish. Your job as
problem solvers will be to assist Wonder Woman as
she chases down “Bad Man” Barton, and help her
retrieve the stolen items. First, Wonder Woman needs
help changing into her crime fighting outfit. Your
robot will hit a lever that switches Wonder Woman
into her uniform. After completing the wardrobe
change, Wonder Woman will begin chasing “Bad Man”
Barton. The robot will fight Barton by knocking him
off the course. Once he is weak, the robot will
advance down the course and close the door to the
jail cell the “Bad Man” Barton has been moved to. As
soon as he is successfully imprisoned, the robot
will advance over the gravel pit where it must play
a victory tune. The victory tune will be the Wonder
Woman theme song.
Description:
By traveling down the first leg of the "w", the team
reaches the point end where they must spin the lever
arm (changing clothes). They then turn the corner
and travel to the next point where they must then
knock a ball off of a column (Bad Man Barton dressed
as a toilet paper roll column). After this task is
completed, they travel down the next leg and must
navigate the corner without a sensor strip: they
must also knock down the column to drop the jail on
the bad guys. The team will then travel back to the
sensor strip, travel up the ramp and play a victory
tune at the end of the ramp.
