WSU 2004 LEGO MINDSTORMS Challenge: Robo Olympics

2004 LEGO MINDSTORMS CHALLENGE TRIAL DAY

Saturday, March 6,  10:00a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The Engineering Building, WSU Campus

All of the missions will be available for students to practice and refine their robots and programs.  Engineering Council representatives will be available all day to answer questions about any of the missions or the MINDSTORMS Challenge.

No laptops will be available for checkout.  If teams want to program on that day they will need to furnish their own computer, software, and IR tower.  Remember to bring extension cords and power strips for your computers and batteries for your RCX.  You may bring food and drink.

Judges' Meeting

Saturday, March 6,  9:00a.m. - 10:00a.m.
Engineering Building, WSU Campus

All judges are asked to attend this informational meeting.  Rules and scoring will be discussed.  Official T-shirts will be handed out.  Judges will also get a chance to see all of the mission boards and talk to WSU Engineering student representatives for each mission.  Starting at 10:00am student teams will begin working and practicing on the missions.  This is a great time to prepare for the final Challenge on March 20.

If for some reason you are unable to attend the Judges' meeting at 9:00am please make sure to make arrangements to meet with a representative at some during the day on March 6 between 10:00 - 4:00 so that you may be briefed on the mission and challenge.
