Check your Mailing Address, School and Personal Information

Get a Topic from Jeri

Develop a Hotlist of 15 - 20 websites (or work for one hour--whichever comes first)

  • Work independently with one topic

  • Type in a Word document

  • Topic centered at the top of the page

  • Your name as author centered under title

  • Sites appropriate for middle level students

    • List Title and URL only (*see below for format)

    • Alphabetized by Title

Write two lessons (NOT UNITS - These lessons should be able to be taught in a 50 min. period).  Create separate Word documents - one for each lesson in addition to your hotlist.

Select 2 of the 3 lesson strategies below or get permission (from Jeri) to use one of your own.

*Subject Sampler

*Treasure Hunt

When you are finished ask Jeri or Tonya to take a quick look at your Hotlist, and 2 lessons.  Save them to the folder called "challenge"

Challenge:  When you are done with this assignment you are free to go home!

Next week we will put these lessons on your own Blackboard site.  If you are not in USD 259 please try to have a Bb site ready.  If you can't, you can use one of ours for practice.
