The following activities in The Rainforest were created so students may integrate the World Wide Web into classroom learning. The topic of tropical rainforest was selected to enhance the background knowledge of our students on the subject and to apply their new knowledge on a local assessment. 

The Web offers a broad authentic learning experience, allowing the students to apply computer lab experience by searching the World Wide Web, and gathering information to write a successful paper.
