Relate this to your own life.  Has there ever been a traumatic event in your life that has forced you to look at situations differently?   Please explain the traumatic event and how you dealt with it?

How much would it cost you to buy milk, Jonathan apples, and peaches during the Great Depression?  Now compare the prices of groceries from back then to now.  How much more money would you spend on these items today?  This question will require you to go to your local grocery store.
