Historical Comparisons of Egyptian and Other African Countries

Gwen Hatzenbuehler

Read the short story “Behind Sealed Doors.”  In this story, many facts about Egyptian history are presented (facts about people, the country, language, and writing). Egypt was an ancient part of the continent of Africa. How many other countries in Africa may have shared similar history or different history and facts?

To find out, you will now research one of the countries listed below. After researching one of the countries, develop a 10-slide power point document  that includes this information:

  1. People
  2. Animals
  3. Facts and figures
  4. Type of land
  5. Photos of the country

Warning:  Do not forget to cite your sources.
