Comparing Egyptian and African Civilizations

Gwen Hatzenbuehler

Read the short story “Behind Sealed Doors.”  In this story, many facts are presented about Egyptian civilization. This civilization was an ancient part of the continent of Africa. How many other countries in Africa may have similar or different civilizations?

To find out, you will develop a 10-slide PowerPoint document that includes important facts about the civilization you have researched (photos, culture, people, language, religion). Choose one of the links listed and start your research.

Warning:  Do not forget to cite your sources.
