Participants will receive hands-on instructions in a computer lab.  Learn how to use the web to enhance your lessons and integrate technology.  You will search the web to locate quality sites that support state and national standards.

AAA Math
Hundreds of pages of Basic Math Skills. Interactive Practice on every page. An Explanation of the math topic on each page. Several Challenge Games on every page. Math Problems are randomly created.

Cool Math
Play a couple of games, learn about history and art history while you create your own pictures and stories. Unless you save each Stickerbook page, the only way you can move forward is to add a new page. Click on "Discover More" to read more information. If you register, you can save your pictures and share them with friends. For children up to age 12. Requires Shockwave.

MegaMaths Multiplication
This interactive Web site helps you learn and practice times tables. You can play a variety of Shockwave games, solve mazes, and use animated tables. For children ages 7-10. Based on the BBC show called Megamaths.

Maths 2000
This is a special site from the United Kingdom set up for the International Year of Maths to help get kids interested in math. Here, you can play lots of games, solve puzzles, learn about many careers which use math, read fascinating facts about numbers, and more. Games use Java.

Harcourt Brace School Publishers: The Learning Site
Good Web site with activities for kids in Art, Language, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Plus News for Kids.

Houghton-Mifflin Education Place
This is a great site. Areas for kids, parents, and teachers. Lots of activities and helpful information.

McGraw-Hill School Division
Also includes MacMillan. Designed for teachers but contains enrichment activities that could be used at home.

McDougal Littell
Textbooks for older elementary and middle-school subjects.

Modern Curriculum
Activities not up yet but they are coming.

Scott Foresman/Addison Wesley Education Network
