Grade Level:  Fourth

District Health Standard:  Identify skills necessary for responsible personal hygiene.

Lesson Summary:  
The students will learn about different types of health, and the difference between healthy and risky choices.  They will learn to take responsibility for their personal health including dental, eyes, ears, skin, hair and nails.

Materials:

  • Download the Personal Health WebQuest.

  • Pencil for each student

  • Copy of the Personal Health worksheet for each student.

Technology: Computer with Internet connection.

Instructional Input: 

  • Download the Personal Health WebQuest worksheet below.

  • Make copies of the Personal Health worksheet for each student.  

  • To complete the worksheet, students need to read the WebQuest, and click on each link to find the information

  • For assessment purposes, teacher may collect the worksheets.
