Students go on a web scavenger hunt to prevent or solve a variety of safety related problems on a bike trip to the lake.

Instructional Input:

1. Discuss the need to be cautious and safe.
2. Students should log on (individually or with a partner) to a computer with Internet access.
3. Students should follow the prompts in the story and link to web sites where they can find answers to the questions.
4. Answers are to be recorded on the worksheet, which needs to be printed by either the teacher or students.
