Integration Team II
Goals and Rubric

At the June 9th meeting of Integration Team II, we established the following goals and rubric to measure the work of the team. We used the Rubric Builder at Rubric Generator to create the rubric.

Identifying aspects of technology that can be integrated into existing methods course assignments. 5 points

We think and talk about it and complain a lot about it.

10 points

We plan to do it and how to do it, but don't really get around to doing it.

15 points

We do it. Technology activities are integrated into the syllabus and used. We can then add it to our FAR.

 
Increase technology skills in (1) Blackboard, (2) online communication, 5 points

We examine different Blackboard courses from low end uses to high end uses. We learn about various forms of online communication (Harris site).

10 points

We establish a Blackboard account and enter some information for students. We communicate amongst ourselves online.

15 points

We use Blackboard with our students. Online communications a required part of our courses. We can then add it to our FAR.

 
(1) digitize video clips, (2) create and/or locate templates where students examine a concept and respond, (3) design instructional case studies (interactive on 2-3 levels). 5 points

We read about these uses of technology.

10 points

We attend training sessions on these uses of technology and try it out to see if we like it.

15 points

(1)We incorporate at least one of these into our methods courses.
