All aboard! Find some traveling partners and cruise through the web resources listed below. At each location, you will discover new and exciting things about handhelds and education. Use a  Word document or the memo pad to keep your scrapbook of information as you sail along. When your journey ends, you will beam the scrapbook to the instructor.  Bon voyage!
The first stop is the Project M3 handheld web page. As you explore, ask yourself what are advantages that handhelds have as a technology tool in the classroom? Any new advantages you can think of? Take me to the First Stop.
Ready for the second port of call? OK, these little guys sound great but are there barriers to their classroom implementation? Are there problems? Your task is to find 1-3 "cons." Bonus points if you can come up with solutions or counterarguments. One recommended article is "Handheld Computing: The New Best Tech Tool or Just a Fad?". Take me to the Second Stop.
During the final stop in this excursion, you will seek out specific ways handhelds are being used for teaching and learning. The tour guide recommends you poke around at least three links and list 5 learning activities that involve handhelds? Is handheld integration evident at all grade levels? Subject areas? What were your favorite web sites? Take me to the Third Stop.
